On Friday, 4 July 2025, starting at 6 p.m., the Vorchdorf Werbering Wirte invite you to an ‘Italian Night’ with music and culinary specialities in Vorchdorf, the gateway to the Salzkammergut!

Friday, 4 July 2025 – 6 p.m. Italian night with the 10th International Cinquecento Meeting, weather permitting!

Saturday, 5 July 2025 – 9:30 a.m. Departure of the Cinquecento Meeting participants to the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut!

How to get to Italian Night in Vorchdorf in the Almtal valley:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

Extended operating hours on the Traunseetram and Vorchdorferbahn!

In cooperation with the OÖVV and Stern & Hafferl, the Traunsee-Almtal Tourism Association, together with the local groups in Vorchdorf and Gmunden, has made this transport service possible! The current OÖVV fares apply!

By train:
via Wels station to Lambach station, with the Vorchdorferbahn (line 160) or from Gmunden with the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Haferl Bahnen to Vorchdorf Eggenberg.

Numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee

Take the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70 from Scharnstein station via Pettenbach or Route 80 from Almspitz to the Vorchdorf station stop. Call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 to book.

By bike:

From Gmunden, Bad Wimsbach, Pettenbach or Laakirchen, you can easily reach Vorchdorf on beautiful side roads and partly on cycle paths.

By car:

Westautobahn A1 motorway: Vienna – Voralpenkreuz-A1 – A1 Vorchdorf exit

Westautobahn A1 motorway: Munich – Salzburg – A1 Vorchdorf exit

Innkreisautobahn A8 motorway Passau – Wels – Voralpenkreuz A1 – A1 Vorchdorf exit

Parking available in the town centre

(Schwarzelmüller car park), next to the Kitzmantelfabrik event area and at Vorchdorf railway station. (all close to the route!)
