Classic cars under 30 hp are on tour through the European Capital of Culture Region Bad Ischl and the Salzkammergut!

Nostalgic enjoyment & industrial culture in the Traunsee-Almtal region!

Also in the year of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl and the Salkammergut 2024, the Traunsee-Almtal-Salzkammergut Tourist Board invites all friends of the legendary Puch 500, also known as the Fiat Cinquecento, and its relatives to take a ride as part of the International Cinquecento Meeting. Also taking part this time are the friends of the Almtal U30 ride!

A warm welcome to the 12th Almtal U30 Ausfahrt and the 9th Int. Cinquecento meeting - we look forward to welcoming you to the Traunsee-Almtal region again in 2024.

This year we will once again be riding a Grand Tour together through the region of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl and the Salzkammergut and will therefore dispense with additional signposting, as the main destination is well signposted and the route will be ridden in convoy.

Registration from 8.30 a.m. at the TVB Traunsee-Almtal information stand in Lambacherstraße next to the Schlossplatz in Vorchdorf im Almtal
Start at approx. 9:15 - 9:30 a.mn

Vorchdorf - Lindach - Ohsldorf - Regau - Kammer - Weyregg - Steinbach am Attersee - Unterach - St. Gilgen - Bad Ischl - Ebensee - Traunkirchen - Altmünster - Gmunden - Gschwandt - Kirchham - Vorchdorf

Tour:
We cycle from Vorchdorf via Lindach to Laakirchen, continue via Ohlsdorf, where we turn right towards Rittham, continue along the Tiefenweg towards the Regau motorway exit, over the bridge and following the Salzkammergut cycle path R2 via Aurach am Hongar to Schörfling am Attersee, along the Attersee via Weyregg, Steinbach am Attersee, Weißenbach to Unterrach am Attersee, left towards Oberburgau, left again towards Scharfling, onto the B154 to St. Gilgen, there at the roundabout take the third exit towards Strobl/Bad Ischl on the B158 to Pfandl. Gilgen, there at the roundabout take the third exit in the direction of Strobl/Bad Ischl on the B 158 to Pfandl, at GH Pfandl we have reached our lunch stop.

Approx. 11.30 a.m. stop at the Gasthaus Pfandl in Bad Ischl

Approx. 12:30 pm: Continue to Bad Ischl, Maria-Theresienweg car park

Line-up and photo opportunity

Stay in Bad Ischl:
From the car park it is approx. 10 minutes on foot to the town centre of Bad Ischl Free time with the opportunity to visit the exhibitions as part of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl & the Salzkammergut 2024, e.g. at 14:00 in the old brewhouse, or the newly installed museum of the city of Bad Ischl, the Leharvilla, and of course the Kaiservilla. You are also welcome to visit the traditional Zauner coffee shop or the Kuk Bar, to name just a few examples of what is on offer.

Return journey towards Vorchdorf at approx. 15:30:
Bad Ischl - Ebensee - Traunkirchen - Altmünster - Gmunden - Gschwandt - Kirchham - Vorchdorf Departure approx. 15:30 Once again through the town centre of Bad Ischl, on the B 145 to Lahnstein, then onto the old Ischler Straße to Ebensee. Then back on the B 145, through Traunkirchen, turn left in Mitterndorf, over the Hamberg to Altmünster, on to Gmunden and via Gschwandt and Kirchham back to Vorchdorf.

The tour has a length of approx. 150.00 KM.

You are welcome to extend your stay in the Traunsee-Almtal region afterwards and, for example, enjoy the Klassik Open Air in Vorchdorf in the evening, go to Viechtwang for the village festival, the Salzkammergut Open Air in Gmunden and much more! Vi auguriamo un buon viaggio e divertiti!

How to get to Vorchdorf in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend travelling by public transport! Especially for visitors to the market festival weekend!

by train:
via Wels station to Lambach station, with the Vorchdorf railway (line 160) or from Gmunden with the Traunsee tram (line 161) of Stern & Hafferl Bahnen to Vorchdorf Eggenberg. Numerous connections from Wels railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee

Special timetables for the Italian Night and the Klassik Open Air in Vorchdorf will follow soon!

by bus:
OÖVV bus routes 481 from Kirchdorf to Vorchdorf or 501 from Wels to Vorchdorf

with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70 from Scharnstein station via Pettenbach to Vorchdorf station or Route 80 from Almspitz or Hagenmühle, call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 or order on the otaxi app. Travelling

by bike:
Coming from Wels or Linz on the R 4 Traunradweg or R6 Römerradweg, or from Passau via Vöcklabruck and Schwanenstadt on the R 6 Römerradweg to Lambach, via the Traunkraftwerk Lambach and then via Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting to Vorchdorf. From Gmunden, take the cycle route along the Traunsee Tram via Gschwandt and Kirchham to Vorchdorf Also via the cycle connection from the R 11 Almtalradweg from Almsee via Pettenbach, briefly onto the R 13 Traunviertlerradweg to Einsiedlung and then to Vorchdorf.

From the motorway exit in the direction of Vorchdorf town centre, please note the diversions due to the event (vehicles are parked in Lambacherstraße between the church and GH Ziegelböck).
