The Joseph Mohr Memorial Trail was opened in summer 2018 and leads from the village center in Hintersee to the Joseph Mohr Memorial Chapel. The six stations are all open to the public and feature information boards about the individual works of art.
Station 1:"The philanthropist" by Veronica Mrazek
The painting in PAN art technique on canvas fascinates with its brilliant colors and special depth. The artist and ceramicist focuses on the memory of Joseph Mohr. "Ode to Hintersee" by Bernd Horak

It shows natural elements of the landscape in hidden details, combined with the main themes of the song "Silent Night! Holy Night!" and the life of Josef Mohr in Hintersee. "Relaxation lounger" by Michael Ebner
This dynamically constructed lounger made of larch wood is intended to encourage visitors to the Joseph Mohr memorial trail to enjoy nature, free

"Ringing baptismal font" by Martin Ainz
It consists of an old wooden baptismal font and a tabernacle from the Hintersee parish church. The original "Silent Night! Holy Night" melody sounds when you press the button. "Bust of Joseph Mohr" by Franz Lohninger
The sculptor Franz Lohninger from Neumarkt am Wallersee created the bust in 1985. The new pedestal made of Untersberg marble was created by Bernhard Winkler, thus establishing a connection to the fountain.
