Description:

During this relatively short stage, you hike through an enchanting Salzburg valley, where the namesake Lake Hintersee invites you to take a longer break (which might include swimming).

Directions:
In Faistenau, walk southwest along Bramsaustraße following the trail marker “Zum Hintersee” to Bramsau-Bräu. The route continues along the Kugelberg-Rundweg Trail through the Almbach Valley to Rosenlehen. Immediately afterwards, you will arrive once again at Hinterseestraße, but you only follow it to the right for 120 metres. Then ...
