This fixed-rope route called „Via ferrata Sopie“ for beginners at the mountain face, the so-called „Diml Wand“, on the Loser plateau enriches the offer at the Loser.

Description:
The via ferrata for beginners „Via ferrata Sophie“ enriches the offer at the Loser as it is an innovative course for young people and beginners. Also it is an attractive offer for adult beginners and is appropriate for a training for young as well as older people.

The degree of difficulty is about A/B, sometimes C, and is 300 meter long with an altitude difference 70 meters. The starting point is at the Loser Alm. After a short walk you reach the start of the course. It is open to the public from Mai till November. Both, the “Via ferrata Sisi” and the “Via ferrata Sophie” were planed and initiated by Markus Raich.

Tip:
A nice point for a break are the Loser Alm or the Loserhütte.
