The "Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße" leads us from the village Bad Mitterndorf up to the plateau with its beautiful lakes on the Tauplitzalm. Already while cycling an impressive panorama of the area with its mountain "Grimming" and the glacier "Dachstein" makes you enjoy your tour even more.

Dive in into the powerful and vital nature, here where the world idt still alright. The alpine flora stands out with its multifarious colours and seldom forms, no matter if its spring, summer or fall.

Directions:

Beginnend bei der Mautstelle fahren wir die asphaltierte Alpenstraße 10 km in Serpentinen hinauf, bis wir beim höchstgelegenen Seenplateau Europas angekommen sind.

Auf der Tauplitzalm besteht Radfahrverbot!

Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Tauplitzalm and maybe take a ride with the local excursion train over the plateau!

Please take into account, that in the month may and october the toll road "Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße" might be impassable due to snowfalls.
