This tour will show you around the nature sanctuary.

Starting point of the tour is the parking lot of the bathing beach in Hof. A few minutes the way is identical to the "Wasserspur" route till you get to the bathing beach (where you can see several water birds). Then you have to go back a little bit, turn right, cross the stream "Fuschler Ache" and then you reach the east side of the small bog area. After approximately 15 minutes you get to a parking area, where you have to turn left to the street. If you are lucky, you may spot a big curlew in the bog. If you follow the street you reach the mill "Waldachmühle" (go left between the mill and an apartment house) and if you carry on to the street "Waldachstraße" you will return to the starting point of the tour.
There you can see lots of birds – for example the great crested grebe, which needs absolutely clean water, thus serving as a guarantor for a decent water quality. He broods for many years nearby the bathing beach and offers - thanks to his diving skills - a natural spectacle of a special kind. Different dug species, swans and of course numerous birds also dwell there.
