Slow train and panoramic rides over the lake plateau Tauplitzalm.

The hotel's own leisurely train is a fun experience for kids and a chance for parents to relax. The ride over the high plateau of the Tauplitzalm is a great comfort for those who do not like to walk and a blessing for those who cannot hike for health reasons.

With the leisurely train, it is possible to visit three of the six mountain lakes. The ride takes about an hour. During this ride, there is a complete view of the surrounding mountain landscape. (Totes Gebirge, Grimming, Dachstein, Stoderzinken, Schladminger Tauern, Gesäuse,...)

Particularly fascinating are the unique variety of flowers from June to August.
From mid-June to early/mid-September, the grazing livestock can also be admired.

Scenic train tours from mid-June to mid-September every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:00 AM from the Parking Lot Tauplitzalm, right at Alm In.

Group tours available at any time upon request.
If the Hierzegger family does not have a suitable free date, the Hüttner family also offers scenic train tours over the high plateau.
