Iris Luckeneder – a love of movement, a balanced and nourishing diet, soothing mindfulness and an appreciation of health, art and culture are values that Iris consciously incorporates into her life.
After training as a nursery school teacher and early years educator, she studied pedagogy for modern dance at the Vienna Conservatory Private University (now: MUK – Vienna Private University of Music and Art) and attended numerous further training courses in the fields of dance and ballet (Anton Bruckner University, dance medicine, Impuls Tanz, etc.). She rounded off her training in dance pedagogy with a Master’s degree in Elementary Music and Dance Pedagogy at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. At the Vitalakademie, she trained as a certified nutrition coach.
Iris teaches modern and classical dance technique (contemporary dance, the Chladek System, modern dance, ballet, etc.) – to date at various institutions such as schools, nurseries and studios in Vienna, Lower and Upper Austria, as well as at the Upper Austrian State Music School and in her own dance studio. She has been involved in numerous dance education and performance projects (in collaboration with the Russian National Ballet, the ‘Körpergeschichten’ project, etc.), has run her own dance studio and organised several sold-out dance performances. Since 2005, she has been a member of the Austrian Professional Association for Contemporary Dance Education. At the Krabbelstube Upper Austria, Iris worked as a teacher and manager, whilst also planning and organising children’s birthday parties. She took part in various sport and health events, offered children’s wellness courses (nutrition, exercise and wellbeing) and taught apprentices at the BFI in nutrition and product knowledge.
