Cozy wooden cabin at 1,380 m, quiet and idyllic in the beautiful alpine area of Spielbergalm in Krispl-Gaißau, located in the Salzburger Land.

The alpine hut is operated both in summer and winter and offers warm hospitality and regional delicacies alongside the magnificent mountain scenery.

The Latschenalm is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the region. Idyllically located on the Spielbergalm in Krispl-Gaißau, it invites you to linger, enjoy, and unwind.

The special feature of our hut
On our spacious sun terrace, you can enjoy hearty home-cooked meals in a unique mountain setting. Our specialties include, among others, cheese noodles, cheese dumplings, and delicious lamb dishes made from our own organic breeding.

The hut is located directly on the Gaißau–Hintersee mountain bike trail and offers an E-bike charging station – ideal for sports enthusiasts.
Families are also very welcome: From the last parking lot of the Spielbergalm toll road, you can reach the hut via a gently ascending alpine path in about 40 minutes, also easily accessible with a stroller. A toy box is available for our little guests.

By foot or by bike – several paths lead to the Latschenalm:

Last parking lot Spielbergalm toll road → approx. 40 minutes walking time

• Parking lot Schuhwaldschranken → approx. 45 minutes walking time
• Starting point Hintersee Satzstein (mountain biking) or parking lot valley station chairlift → via the former ski run, approx. 2 hours walking time
