Thörl-Krungl-Roundtrip

Directions:
From the parking at the toll station we turn to the left to the so-called "Kögerl" above the area of Thörl and then along the edge of the woods to the street called "Kochalmstraße". After crossing of the center of the village, passing the hotel "Hotel Kogler" you carry on straight ahead and take the way below the main road in order to cross the level crossing to get to the area of Neuhofen. From then on you follow the signpostings of the inn "Goaßhittn" and follow then the main road in direction of Bad Heilbrunn till a small kind of a shrine. There you have to turn to the left to the direction Krungl. Reaching Krungl you can make a stop at the local restaurant for a refreshment.

Then leaving this place in the north direction you have to take the way to the main road, cross it and follow the path back in direction of Bad Mitterndorf to the starting point.

Tip:
Taking a ride on a horse on approved forest roads and paths is allowed from 08.30 a.m until two hours before dusk Feeding areas and raised stands shall be avoided to be passed. 

In wintertime horse riding is not allowed on roads which are not cleaned from the snow. 

 

Only with a valied badge rides are allowed.
