Short description:
Exactly at the foot of Grundlsee's landmark mountain called "Backenstein", there is the small district of Grundlsee "Gaiswinkl". Some attractions and specific curiosities of this area can be discovered.

Directions:
The route starts below the peasant settlement area in Grundlsee's district "Gaiswinkel" at the war memorial, which was restored in 2014. The path leads through homesteads and meadows until you finally cross a river called "Mühlbach". After walking through the forest you will reach the cabin called "Polly-Hütte", where you meet the learning path about famous and popular artists "Via Artis". Via a small tarmac road you get back to the starting point.

Please do not leave the marked route!

Please put a leash on dogs!

In the back part of the path in autumn grazing livestock might be there. Therefore please close again any gates you will have to open in order to carry on the route!
