Snow shoe hiking path around the Fuschlsee

Breathtaking views over the lake and the surrounding mountains change with impressions of different types of trees and meadows.

Most part of the path around lake Fuschlsee lies close by the shore of the lake. Only at the west side, near the Castle Fuschl and the stream "Fuschler Ache" the path turns a bit away, but goes through an attractive nature reserve.

At the north shore of the path you will find a lucky place called "Waldandacht" - a place to stay and sit, enjoying the view to the lake.

The protected south side position of the path makes it possible to hike around the lake in winter too - at least with snow shoes which you can rent at the Fuschlseebad. In summer you can choose between 4 bathing areas to go swimming and relaxing in the sun. On natural interessting points you will find information boards with details on varied ecology of this unique landscape.
