The idyllically beautiful Lake Schwarzensee is a unique experience for anyone going fishing. Happy fishing! The fish-rich mountain lake near St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut. The following fish species can be found in the crystal-clear water: Eel trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, pike, whitefish, lake trout, Arctic char, brook trout.
Season: 1 April to 26 October
You may take up to 3 game fish and 2 peaceful fish per day from Lake Schwarzensee .
You can fish on the entire lake, except in the protected area, without a boat, only from the shore and with a maximum of 2 fishing rods (from sunrise to sunset).
Night fishing is prohibited on Lake Schwarzensee!
