Culinary delights from early to late

Our restaurant combines traditional craftsmanship with modern influences. The dedicated kitchen team under the direction of Patrick Steiner stands for delicious flavor combinations that celebrate both Austrian cuisine and international influences. You can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, lunch, a coffee in the afternoon (and try fresh pastries from our in-house patisserie), a relaxed meal later on and round off the evening with a good glass of wine from our wine cellar.

Here's how to get to Steiner's Fiaker in Laakirchen in the Traunsee-Almtal region of the Salzkammergut:

We recommend traveling by public transportation!

By train and bus:
Take the Salzkammergutbahn (Line 170) from Attnang-Puchheim Station to Gmunden Station,
from Gmunden Station , take OÖVV bus lines 505 and 524 to Laakirchen; get off at the Laakirchen Rathaus stop
The bus stop is right nearby.

By bike:
Steiner’s Fiaker is also very easy to reach by bike. The R4 Traun Cycle Path runs right past the restaurant, either toward Gmunden—where it connects to the R2 Salzkammergut Cycle Path and the Traunviertel Tour—or toward Steyermühl, continuing on to Lambach.

By car:
A1 West Highway: From Munich/Salzburg or Vienna/Linz—take the A1 Laakirchen West exit—follow the B144 toward Gmunden; immediately after leaving Steyermühl, continue to the Laakirchen Zentrum turnoff, then proceed to the next T-intersection and turn left toward the town hall.
Similarly, coming from Bad Ischl on the B145—continue to Gmunden, then take the B144 toward Laakirchen/Lambach until you reach the intersection; turn right toward Laakirchen Zentrum, and after about 300 meters, the town hall and the restaurant are located right on the street.

Parking:
There are numerous parking spaces around the town hall and restaurant. Please be aware of the short-term parking zone and use a parking meter!
