"Mondseer Jedermann" has been performed in Mondsee every year since 1922. **The Play of the Life and Death of the Rich Man Jedermann.** The wealthy farmer Jedermann is immensely proud of his estate. He dismisses his mother’s warnings as ridiculous and mocks his poor neighbors and a poor woman for their poverty. Instead, he listens more to his city-dwelling crony, who tells him exactly what he wants to hear. He knows how to enjoy his wealth, carousing and partying almost every day with his so-called friends. But one day, suddenly and without warning, Death approaches him and demands that he come along..... **On the open-air stage in the Karlsgarten (access via A.-Strindbergstraße)** The venue is one of Austria’s most beautiful natural stages. **In case of inclement weather**, the performance will take place in [the ballroom—Sala Schloss Mondsee](https://mondsee.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-location/detail/430001348/kultur-und-veranstaltungszentrum-schloss-mondsee.html) in the Salzkammergut. **The theater troupe will decide on the day of the performance at 6:00 p.m. where the event will be held.** [ Contact ](#ttgCollapseKontakt) ---------------------------------- **Mondsee Jedermann - Playing group** Alfred-Jäger-Weg 3, 5310 Mondsee am Mondsee Phone[+43 6232 4050](tel:+4362324050) mobile+43 664 3387497 E-Mail[info@mondseer-jedermann.at](#mailto) Web[www.mondseer-jedermann.at](https://www.mondseer-jedermann.at) book a ticket [book a ticket](https://ticketing.salzkammergut.at/de/buyingflow/tickets/11600/ "New window") --- **We speak the following languages** German [ Event date(s) ](#ttgCollapseVeranstaltungstermine) ------------------------------------------------------ [ Venues ](#ttgCollapseVeranstaltungsorte) -------------------------------------------- **Mondsee Castle Cultural and Event Centre** Schlosshof 8, 5310 Mondsee am Mondsee Phone [+43 6232 5001](tel:+4362325001) E-Mail Web --- **Karlsgarten Mondsee** zwischen Kirchengasse und Strindbergstrasse, 5310 Mondsee am Mondsee Phone [+4332269096615 6132 26909](tel:+4332269096615613226909) E-Mail Web [ Arrival ](#ttgCollapseAnreise) ---------------------------------- [ Prices ](#ttgCollapsePreise) -------------------------------- **General price information**Ticket Prices for 2027 Category A (Rows 1–11): Advance sales: €29 | At the box office: €33 Category B (Rows 12–19): Advance sale: €25 | At the door: €29 Children up to 14 years old (13.99 years) and people with disabilities receive a 50% discount.
